      New VA Hospital

      The new VA hospital is slated to open spring 2012. Let me just say that it is bee-yoo-tee-ful!!

      This is a really exciting time for the city of Cape Coral. Obviously this is a very positive thing for our local military veterans. No longer will in depth care be handled at Bay Pines several hours away but in their own backyard.

      The current and future development of this site bodes very well for economic times ahead. Future plans to build out the land between Diplomat Pkwy E and NE Pine Island Rd include shopping, dining and hotels. Construction employment will pick up as each project gets underway and once buildings are completed will add jobs from everything to retail and hospitality to experienced medical positions.
